This beautiful state is full of rugged nature, from desert to mountain to sea.  It is a place full of people from all over the world, cultures mixing and contributing food, tradition, and perspectives.  A place leading in art, science, and technology.  A state that is more welcoming and open-minded towards our fellow humans than most.  California has pros and cons like anywhere else, but I’m forever grateful this unique land is my home.
