I’m Erin Donalson

We’re on this ride together.

With a deep interest in people, cultures, and places, I shoot to capture both human experience and the wonders of our planet.

In each gallery I hope to illuminate some essence of the subject. My wish is to inspire connection, curiosity, and compassion.

I photograph using Canon and Olympus equipment. Canon on land, Olympus underwater.

My work has appeared for USA Today, BBC, AP Images, Earth, and Hawaii Magazine among others. I’ve been published in Scientific American and the book “Sacred Ceremonies for a Sacred Earth.” I’m honored to have been selected for the upcoming Atlas of Humanity exhibition in Paris.

It continues to be my honor to be asked to photograph different events, gatherings, and celebrations filled with culture, love, and life.

I currently live in Southern California with my husband, Mark. We raised our two sons and daughter here, and we’re grateful to call this home.

“What you have caught on film is captured forever…it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything”
